Magazine Calendar Listings - Paid


Our magazine calendar is a wonderful resource to help fill your next workshop or event. The magazine features three calendars:

  • EVENTS CALENDAR For one-time event listings. $30 per listing.
  • ONGOING CALENDAR For regular classes, meetings, etc., that occur on an ongoing basis. $10 per listing.
  • PLAN-AHEAD For events taking place in future months. $25 per listing.

FREE MAGAZINE CALENDAR LISTINGS:  If you are  a current magazine advertiser or distribution site, you may be entitled to Free Magazine Calendar Listings. See Calendar Submission Guidelines in the sidebar of the free listings page.

Paid Magazine Calendar Submission Guidelines

  • All calendar listings must be submitted online.
  • After submission, we will contact you via email with payment instructions. We will soon have online payment system.
  • There are three Calendar sections in the magazine, Events, Ongoing and Plan-Ahead. The Calendar sections are for one-time or ongoing events only. By Appointment listings and classified ads must appear in the Classified section.
  • Listings that are not repeating events may not be listed in the Ongoing events section.
  • If you run a listing in the Ongoing calendar, it cannot be repeated in the Events calendar or vice-versa.
  • Submission deadline: The cutoff date for any month’s issue is the 10th of the preceding month.  We appreciate and encourage people to send their listings in as soon as possible to give us time to prepare the magazine. All listings must be resubmitted each month.
  • Price per listing:  Events calendar: $30. Ongoing calendar: $10. Plan-Ahead calendar: $25.
  • Word Limit:  Events calendar–300 characters or less. Ongoing calendar–150 characters or less. We reserve the right to edit as needed.
  • Writing Style: Please write objectively in the third person, without using words like I, we, me, my, mine, our, us, you, your, etc.
  • Free Calendar Listings for Magazine Advertisers: If you have a display ad in the magazine (1/6 page or greater), you are allowed up to five free listings in the current Events or Ongoing calendar sections. If you have an ad smaller than 1/6 page or a listing in the Community Resource Guide list in the magazine, you are allowed two free calendar listings. (Click here for Free Calendar Listings). Additional listings may be purchased at the standard rate. You are also allowed the same number of free listings though our online calendar submissions.
  • Free Online Calendar Listings for Magazine Advertisers: You are entitled to the same number of online calendar ads as you have in the magazine.
  • Ongoing events must be verified every month that the event is still ongoing.
  • Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation of receipt of your calendar submissions and payment within 3-4 days. If you do not receive this confirmation, you must contact publisher@na-sd.com to verify receipt.

 

How to Submit Your Listing

  • Forms may time out on your computer, so it is best to copy and paste your descriptive information from a prepared document.
  • We suggest you use spell check and Tools - Word count to keep characters within maximum allowed before pasting.
  • Fill out the form completely.
  • Use the TAB key to go from field to field. DO NOT HIT “ENTER”.
  • If you have multiple listings, just continue down the page to the beginning of the next form (Listing #2 and so forth.)
  • You may submit between one and five listings on this form.
  • Make sure you tally the number of listings correctly to avoid omitted listings.
  • When done, scroll down to the bottom of this page to SUBMIT.
  • Continue to Payment Page to finalize your order.
  • Confirmation will be sent by PayPal and your listing will be sent to us to process. If you do not receive confirmation within four business days, please contact publisher@na-sd.com.
